Indrajit Banerjee

Indrajit Banerjee is an international business professional and has over 25 years of experience with exemplary track record in driving operational excellence while working in senior leadership positions. He has worked with leading companies like Amazon.com, Orica Mining Services Australia and C.K. Birla Group. He has led senior teams under him based out of Singapore, Kathmandu, Dubai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad. His skill-sets are backed by experience in Export Import Management, Dangerous Goods Safety Compliance and Transportation Network management. In his previous roles, he was the head of Amazon US network Planning & Disruption management and Head of Logistics for Orica in S.E.Asia. He has published several papers on inland logistics and Export shipments and has been a panel member in CAPEXIL and in Experts’ committee on safe Transportation in Orica Australia, Indrajit has been a recipient of several awards from the industry and as well as from the MNCs he has worked. He is also certified from Amazon on ‘Working Backwards’ , ‘Develop the Best’, ‘Managing Performance’ from Hay McBer & Company Inc., Australia and ‘Leadership Essentials’ from DDI International USA. He was holding a Class 6 Certification from IATA for Dangerous Goods regulations and handling. Indrajit is a commerce graduate from Calcutta University and an MBA. He has also been awarded a one-year ‘International Business Management Program’ from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM C). He is also certified in ‘Export Import Management’ under Director General of Foreign Trade(DGFT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Indrajit has worked in diverse geographies globally and travelled across the world for the past two decades, which has helped him to gain experience in working collaboratively with cross-cultural and multi-functional teams. He also played an instrumental role for successfully collaborating with the Government departments of India, Malaysia & Vietnam for improving transportation regulations to make it at par with EU regulations. For his dedicated services and achievements in driving business excellence, he has been felicitated and recognized many a times. The top recognitions being:
o Asia Award for Excellence in 2014-2015 for supporting economic development of local areas by introducing new dangerous goods sea ports in India & Malaysia from Orica, Australia
o An award from Cochin Port Trust in 2012-2013 from port authorities for outstanding transportation performance in 2013
o Asia Award for Integrity in 2016-2017 for best practices in emerging markets of Indo-China.
Indrajit worked with other subject matter professional to launch ‘Exim Guild’ in 2020. Bhaskar Chatterjee

Bhaskar Chatterjee is a professional with over thirty (30) years’ experience in Export -Import Management. He worked in blue-chip multinational companies like ICI India Limited and Orica Mining Services, Australia. A respected person in the commercial explosives and chemical manufacturing industry, he spear-headed the entire gamut of Export-Import operations in some of the most challenging and a regulated environment in the world.
Bhaskar’s experience in handling mid-sea anchorage loading operations of vessels at Mumbai port for Class 1 Explosives and Barge operations is legendary. As a leader he interacted with importation agencies like Indian Navy, Customs, Freight Forwarders, Stevedoring and CHAs to ensure 100% safety of shipment of products and 100% receipt of payment for every shipment he handled. He enjoys an excellent relationship with key Vessel Chartering companies, Freight Forwarders, CHAs in key ports of India.
Bhaskar was also instrumental bringing in important changes in Government Regulations for House Stuffed sea shipping containers and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of Class 1 from ports of Cochin and Chennai. He is regarded as one of the first person in India to ship Dangerous Goods using gateway of these ports. In addition to sea, he is also one of the first person in India to lead charter flight operations to ship Class 1.1B commercial cargo from an Indian airport.

Bhaskar has also played an important part in Safety Management System for inter-modal shipments and integrity of packaging which one of the key elements of Export shipments.
Bhaskar was also played a very critical role for his company developing products and new markets for his company. He was instrumental in growth of business in Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Philippines, UAE , Turkey beside African nations of Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Nigeria etc. He has also travelled extensively across the world for international business.

Bhaskar holds a degree of B.Com(Hons) in Commerce with a First Class from Calcutta University and an MBA from Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWB&M) with First Class and is a Gold Medallist.
Bhaskar is very fond of swimming in the open sea and during short breaks he would be pack his bag to visit one of the beaches in India. He loves travelling to offbeat places and do not be surprised if you manage to catch him in some hilly region near you.

Gurinder Singh Duggal

Gurinder Singh Duggal has work experience of over 20 years in the area of Global Procurement and Supply Chain Management. This experience has been gained by living and working out of Melbourne(Australia), Singapore, Dubai (U.A.E), Zurich(Switzerland) and Moscow(Russia). Besides, work has taken him to over 75 countries. He has worked in companies such as Orica Mining Services, Dulux Paints Australia, LafargeHolcim & Sika AG. Presently, he is working as a Senior Director with Solvint International a Swiss supply chain and procurement consultancy based in Zurich. He is also an Advisory Board Member at AfriProspect, a consultancy involved in bringing innovations to market with a focus on Africa continent.

Gurinder holds qualifications of M.B.A (India), Masters International Business(Australia) and Masters in Supply Chain (U.S.A). Besides, he has done certificate course- Supply Chain Management: Driving Strategic Advantage & Executive Training & Innovation of Products and Services: MIT’s Approach to Design Thinking from MIT, U.S.A. Gurinder is a avid traveler, a photography enthusiast, a ferocious reader and practices meditation.

Brian Devaraj

Brian Devaraj based in Sydney, Australia, is an Associate Fellow of The Nautical Institute of London, member of Safex Panel of Experts and a BSc graduate from St. Xavier’s college, Kolkata. He is also a Senior Member of ITIC (International Transport Intermediaries Club Ltd), Advisory Council Member of GLG (Gerson Lehman Group, New York) and Advisor to Guidepoint Expert Network, New York. He is a member of ICHCA International, London and is member of their Technical Panel – Working Group on Dangerous Goods. He has also been invited as an Expert Witness for technical logistics advice on multi-million-dollar arbitration claims in London. He has held senior management roles in Logistics and Supply Chain at ICI Chemicals and Orica Limited across their global operations in over 30 countries. He is the founding Managing Director / CEO of his independent consultancy (https://devgloballogisticsservices.info/) based in Australia with clients from the Mining and Explosives Industry spread across the globe.
He is a senior global logistics professional with proven experience in highly sensitive dangerous goods (including Explosives) in the chemical industry involving large global manufacturing organizations with multibillion-dollar turnover. His 30 plus years of broad management experience, specializing in the commercial field with a background in operations, spans across all modes of transport & logistics – sea, air, rail and trucking including warehousing and storage which included a $750m spend and 20 million kilometres per annum operation. In the marine space, Brian has transformed shipping from being operational to strategic across a ~$50m per annum spend. He designs shipping models that deliver multimillion-dollar savings and position the organization to have a competitive advantage. On the land side (rail and trucking) of logistics, Brian has turned around operator safety performance through the application of risk controls to deliver a more than 50% reduction in serious incidents in a span of a year and cost efficiencies in excess of $5m per annum. He delivers enhanced safety performance, cost efficiency and ensures the brand protection of corporations. Through his many decades of experience, he is an authority to himself on the various international Codes and Regulations including the IMDG, IATA, IMO, IMSBC etc. just to name a few. He has designed shipping standards including export packaging, handling, stowage and ship vetting and has trained teams across the global network.
Brian has extensive experience in partnering with Government and Private Sector organizations across the globe spanning more than 30 countries. This includes large scale port operations, dangerous goods regulators and transport operations. His extensive technical expertise and knowledge is well respected and valued across the industry globally.
He has experience in various risk management methodologies include HIRAC and C2RI Bow Tie approaches to managing risk across the logistics chain end to end. His strategic thinking skills provide him with creative problem-solving techniques. Brian has authored several technical papers in specialized publications. He has also presented his work in international conferences globally. Over the last few years Brian has expanded his influence across the explosives and other industries and continues to drive change through his independent consultancy as well as his involvement with logistics industry associations globally.
